Community Partners for Better Health Celebrates Health Advocates
Community Partners for Better Health (CPBH), will host its 12th Annual Health Advocate Award Luncheon, Thursday, May 16, 2019, at the Rio, Palma Ballroom. Caesars Entertainment will remain “Title Sponsor”. Being aware of CPBH’s tenure in providing quality health education and awareness of healthy lifestyles for prevention of chronic disease this continuing collaboration is important to Southern Nevada community outreach programs.
The awards program honors professionals who have demonstrated exceptional and extraordinary achievement as health clinicians, in public health care, disease prevention, health education and/or other health related special achievements.
Honorees may be health professionals, health care agencies, health care institutions, businesses, non-profits, and community citizens that demonstrate commitment and work tirelessly in pursuit of excellence in health care and health education. We honor those who are health care “Pioneers” who through their momentums are laying a foundation upon which others can build. CPBH is the first and only organization focusing attention to such a praiseworthy group.

We highly value Caesars ongoing, support as we continue to empower people and the community with the necessary knowledge and tools to improve health, quality of life and equal access to health opportunities for all people in Southern Nevada.

“Compassion Fatigue and Resiliency”
Dr. Kennedy has facilitated and conducted research for a number of Clark County task forces including initiatives on human trafficking, juvenile delinquency, child abuse and sex offender management. She conducts research for specialty courts, child protective services and non-profit service agencies in Las Vegas.
Dr. Kennedy also serves as an active mentor and board member for national and local non-profits. She is a frequent trainer on child abuse and human trafficking, speaking to criminal justice, mental health, medical and community based organizations.
